Hospitalia International

The Cardiac Surgery Clinic was built outside of the Turkmenian capital Ashgabat on a piece of land which so far had not been developed. It was the first hospital of the so called "medical city" which was continously expanded in the following years. hospitalia international was responsible for the turnkey erection of the hospital, namely conception and planning, earthquake-proof erection of the building and equipping to the highest standard. This war particularly true for diagnostics and therapy. Once or twice per year the local doctors are intensively trained by German doctors when jointly operating patients. Furthermore, hospitalia international regularly supplies consumables, spare parts and minor medical equipment as and when needed.

The mobile unit supplied was designated as rapid replacement for a part of the Balkh Medical Hospital which had been destroyed. This solution was implemented together with GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) and financed through Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW). The mobile unit comprises 6 containers/shelters, one OT shelter, one laboratory shelter, 3 ward shelters (4 ICU and 6 regular beds) as well as one examination and treatment shelter.

After having equipped ten operating theaters, hospitalia international supplied medical equipment for the central OT Dept. and Sterilization Dept. Additionally, ventilation, endoscopy as well as general medical equipment was supplied. Apart from equipment supply and respective installation all of these contracts also included a three-year warranty service in order to secure the sustainability of the investment.

All the above contracts were financed through a softloan credit of the German government while the loan itself was processed through KfW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau).

The special clinic focuses on the treatment of diseases in the field of dental care, ENT and ophthalmology as well as surgery having available medical equipment of highest standard. Within the clinic there are four operating theaters, two of them equipped with laser technique, the Diagnostic Dept. can rely on a MRI and a CT for exact examinations. Also this special clinic is part of the "medical city" in Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan.

This hospital was erected in the newly built district Binhu. hospitalia international supplied medical equipment for laboratory and imaging diagnostics of highest standard, i.e. did the central laboratory receive a analytical equipment capable of processing 4.000 samples per hour.

The Central Multiprofile Hospital, located in the capital of Turkmenistan, is a general hospital pertaining to the Turkmenian Armed Forces. It is designed to provide medical care to the personnel of the Armed Forces and their families.

The special clinic for diagnosis and therapy of oncological diseases has been erected in the so called "medical city" of Ashgabat, as replacement for the old oncology hospital which already existed for many years. The equipment represents highest technical standard and comprises i.a. six operating theaters, two linear accelerators, a large laboratory and an outpatient clinic. 

Under the program "The Six Provinces of P.R. China Hospital Equipment Project under KfW Loan" several contracts were concluded with hospitalia international. The scope comprised the supply and installation of medical and technical equipment to a total of 20 hospitals as well as 192 blood banks and hospital blood banks located in the Provinces of Anhui, Hebei , Hubei, Gansu, Inner Mongolia und Xinjiang.

The project was financed through a softloan of the Federal Republic of Germany with the loan being processed by Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau in Frankfurt/Main.

Financed through a softloan of the German government the long-time existing Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital was provided with new medical equipment. Essential part of this undertaking was the complete rehabilitation of Radiology, Central Sterilization, ICU and new-born ICU. Additionally, also the central OT area received new equipment and the medical equipment workshop was newly equipped as well. 

Within the frame of a program for quality improvement the Provincial  Hospital of Binh Phouc received new medical equipment for various areas. Furthermore, two ambulances were supplied and maintenance services rendered during a two-year period.

Under this contract medical equipment was supplied to a total of 210 CDCs (Center of Disease Control) located in eight provinces. Also the National AIDS Reference Laboratory in Beijing received medical equipment.

The new Ophthalmology Hospital was built in the neighborhood of a number of other special clinics just outside of the capital Ashgabat. The design of the building is closely related to the special discipline of the clinic, i.e. it was built in the form of an eye and can be approached over a freefloating suspension bridge. The clinic has been provided with latest-state-of-the-art equipment including modern laser systems.
